Suzanne’s Excess Skin Removal Surgery

In August of 2018, weighing 340 pounds, Suzanne decided she was going to start a journey of getting healthy and losing the weight that was holding her back in so many ways.  I’ve watched her walk this journey out with as much grace and strength as I’ve ever seen, and am so proud of every accomplishment she has made.  

     Today, Suzanne has lost a total of 165 pounds...and continues to lose!  With that much weight loss, Suz is beginning to have some complications because of all of the excess loose skin.  We were praying that our insurance would cover the cost, or at least a major portion of it, but have found out that even with all the complications it’s considered cosmetic and will only give us a very small fraction of the cost.  Suzanne has been approved for the excess skin surgery, and it has been scheduled for September 9th .  This will be the first of 3 surgeries.  We decided to, in faith for the finances, schedule the surgery.

      We currently have $3200 saved for the surgery but are still short $15,000 for all the surgeries.  I always hate to ask for help from people for finances, but I also believe in giving people the chance to be a part of Suzanne’s journey.  We would also appreciate your prayers concerning all the dynamics of her medical procedures.  Thank you so much for your love, prayers and support!
