Suzanne’s Funeral and Memorial

Suzanne “Fluffy” Hoffman passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 25th, 2018.
Grandma Fluffy was a devoted fun loving mother, with an amazing sense of humor, always giving so much, and asked for so little in return. She was a magnificent women!!
Suzy also was a master cook in the kitchen, she believed in over cooking everything, and making sure to count the same amount of olives or carrots on each of our plates. This also being where Summer and I learned our table manners, how to use the napkin in our lap, to pretend cough and spit the food out. Calling this the Hoffman diet!!
Also, Suzy left behind a hell of a lot of stuff to Summer, who has no idea what to do with it. So if you are looking for a 10 foot serving buffet, 6 crock pots, an umbrella cane stand or 2 extremely large TV’s from the 80’s. You should wait the appropriate amount of time and get in touch with Summer. Tomorrow would be fine!!
The funeral plans are still being arranged. Suzy’s wish was always to have a simple funeral, but also to have a tree planted in her honor, with a bench in Summer’s back yard, this being where she can watch her granddaughters grow.
We have already had numerous emails, texts, and messages from people asking how they can help. So here it is!!!
As you may not be aware, due to Suzy’s unexpected illness, and not having a life insurance policy, this has created a huge financial burden on Summer. So, I thought this was something we could all do to help her out. This being able to give Summer the time to greive peacefully, not having to struggle with the financial expenses of a funeral and memorial to honor her mother.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to donate towards Suzy’s memorial. You can either make a donation with the Go Fund Me account, or make a payment by phone with the Island Funeral Home [phone redacted].
