Support Suzanne Huffman's sons

Suzanne was in my class to become a white water raft guide. She also worked full time as a police officer. She was going back to school to improve her life and the life of her family, at the age of 40 and a single mother of five boys. She would tell me her hectic schedule and how she worked nights and would run off of just a couple hours of sleep, but she never complained and was always early to any class or event. She proved that nothing could stop her mentally or physically and told me she was living a dream she always had as a kid when she became a river guide. She said she was getting to do adventures she had always wanted.  She signed up on all five of Columbus State University Outdoor Adventure's trips this semester. We went hang gliding last month and played zombie paintball just this Friday. She was set to go learn how to fly a helicopter, ride in NASCARs at the Talladega 500 and go on our skiing and snowboarding trip this December, stating that, "Material things can be broken, lost, taken away, but your life experiences will always be with you". Unforuntately, a tragic accident happened while on a rock climbing trip with her church group this weekend.

To Suzanne's sons: Your mom's spirit will always be with us. Her smile and positive attitude will live on forever and can be seen in any positive thing that happens, so let them happen and happen often to remind you of her. She is with God now and will be an angel on your shoulders forever, smiling at your accomplishments. Continue to live a life that would make her proud.
