COVID-19 Financial Emergency

my dad moved us from San Diego, California to Scranton, Pennsylvania for an opportunity not often offered to managers within this company. However, that opportunity was misrepresented and has not panned out as expected and now, five months after arriving, the COVID-19 pandemic has us stuck here in PA. He's unemployed, can't get unemployment benefits in PA because there is an open unemployment claim in California and California won't give us benefits because we no longer reside in California. We have spent the last of what we've had saved on groceries but we are still extremely low on other necessities. We just need to get by. Anything will help.
