Susan's Hurricane Harvey Fund

Hello family and friends. My name is Roseann Anthony, I am from Providence, RI. Hurricane Harvey has had a devastating effect on my cousin Sue Giolitti . When Harvey first hit, Susan and Rico tried to stay in their home as long as they could to ride out the storm. By Saturday morning they had as much as 12" of water in their house, and since there was a break in the storm, they decided to leave and get someplace safe. Sue got 2 trash  bags and she and Rico put as many clothes in as they could fit. They put the bags and their dog Juilet in a 50 gallon trash barrel. They started walking. The streets were covered by water as high as their waist. The rain was coming down hard, they were getting dranched from above and below. It was awful!! There were many other people walking with them trying to get to safety. Sue and Rico walked for 2 1/2 hours, finally a good samaritan gave them a ride to the nearest hotel. When they finally arrived at the hotel the first thing  they did was take showers, and wash every bit of clothing.
When the storm was finally over, Sue and Rico went home to assess the damages, not knowing what to expect. Once there they found their home was under 4 feet of water. Her car a complete loss. Sue was devastated, she had only owned her home for 3 years, everything was new. Sue was making a wonderful home for her self and her nephew Enrico.
 
Sue knows how fortunate she is, they are safe, but it is still diffucult to start over from square one, she needs to rebuild, unfortunately today she found out that because she did not have flood insurance, her home is not covered.
The reason why I thought about starting this "go-fund me page" is to help her in this time of need. Every little bit will help. Sue has always been the one who is always giving, helping out everyone. This is the time for us to help her rebuild what they have lost! I would like it if you can help me help Susan.
