In Loving Memory of Susan Schieli
Tax deductible
On October 29th, 2017, our mom, Susan Israel-Schieli, lost a twelve year battle with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. She passed peacefully in the early afternoon, surrounded by unconditional love in the form of her family.
Our mother was beautiful, intelligent, sensitive, and thoughtful. She was a passionate human rights activist, who cared deeply about other people. She was a loving and protective mom, wife, and friend. Everyone who knew her has felt the reach of her strength and her spirit - something even the cruelty of Alzheimer's could not take away. We deeply miss her light, love, and presence every day.
Our mother's illness and subsequent passing were tragic, untimely, and a great loss to our family. The last thing she would have wanted was for a single other soul to suffer the way she did; for another family to lose a parent, spouse, child, or sibling in this way. To honor her memory, please help us end the suffering caused by Alzheimer's disease, and donate to the Alzheimer's Association to help us find a cure.
With love,
Emma and Sophie
