Susan Webb's Healing Funds

Hello All! My great friend Susan (Manis) Webb and her sweet family could use some good vibes and healing thoughts as they navigate through some very difficult times. Susan found out in March that she has a large tumor in her ankle/foot called Myxoid Chondrasarcoma. It is a rare and malignant form of cancer that has also metastisized to her lungs. 

She has been working with an amazing health care team and they are following her condition very closely. She has been on oral chemotherapy medications that have awful side effects. They tell her to anticipte being on them for years. The oncologists have given her all the treatment options and there are not many for a cancer this rare. So she had to make the extremely brave decision to have a below the knee amputation in order to save her life. Words cannot express how proud I am of her!

When I asked her if I could set up this page she was hesitant and questioned if her story warranted a GoFundMe page. My first thought was, "uhh, f*uck yes it does!" She is humble and proud. She is the last person to ask for help. Some may even say she is stubborn;) I think these very personality traits will be the ones that help her through the tough days ahead. These funds will help Susan and her family with any medical bills/expenses, equipment, supplies and medications. 

...and one day she grasped that unexpected things were always going to happen in life. With that, she realized the only control she had was how she chose to handle them. So she made the decision to survive using courage, humor and grace. She was the queen of her own life and the choice was hers.
