Susan Galvez Medical Fund
Donation protected
Susan Galvez, beloved wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many suffered a large stroke on Monday February 13, 2017. The stroke affected a great portion of her right brain. She underwent a craniotomy on February 16 to relieve some of the pressure from the swelling and bleeding around her brain. The surgery was considered life saving. While the surgery part is done for now, the road is far from over. Doctors are anticipating a long road to recovery which will include some extended time in the hospital ICU, a very likely extended stay in a rehabilitation center and further rehabilitation at home.
What the family is asking for is donations to help cover some of the costs of the hospital stay, rehabiliation stay, rehabiliation equipment that she will need in the future and any medical bills that this will incur. Susan's husband, Nick, and her children have been by her side non-stop. Any type of donation would be greatly appreciated from all of the family. Donations would be strictly used for Susan and her well-being and recovery. Susan has endured so much over this journey so far. She is a fighter and with the astounding number of prayers and well wishes sent her way, the family is confident in her recovery. Lastly, the family would like to say thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts for however you decide to help. Any size donation will ensure that we can return Susan to those that knew her and give her and her family another chance at making memories once again.
Sincerely and Best Regards,
The Galvez Family
