survival fund for a black trans student

Hello! I am a non-binary black art student with they/he pronouns, and I attend school remotely while living in CT currently. Barely surviving a pandemic with the savings I have after fleeing an abusive home with some aid, things have been rough as I realized I simply do not have enough to live where I am currently staying for long. Back in August, I was living with my mother and my physically and verbally abusive sibling...who is also transphobic. School had just begun for me, and I wasn't in the best environment or living situation for work. I was at my limit, and had just enough saved to move out--at the time, my mother only allowed me to move if I made 500 more dollars so that I could pay rent upfront (that is how much it is for me monthly). I wanted to get out ASAP since I had no other way to make that much in a short time, so I made a go fund me just for that purpose. Over time I realized that it was simply not enough for me to live, even though I was in a safer space-- I haven't actually been living, and constantly worrying about money has been a problem as well. Doing art commissions barely kept me afloat as I was too busy with school work for the semester. As an art student,  struggling with having access to proper school supplies (art supplies and equipment also being vital for making ends meet) while being off-campus was a big problem as well, and I had to drop a class because of that. The little savings I have are being drained by essential things and emergencies that have come up along the way. I have been trying to be as mindful of spending as possible until I officially move. Having a safe place to stay is of the utmost importance to me, and this funding will help me continue to be on my own for the next year.  It will cover access to food, transportation, housing, school supplies, and moving expenses for the next year. It is going to support me as a student who moved out of a transphobic household during a pandemic. I left with the intention of never looking back, and this funding will enhance my safety and health.
