A letter from Stormy..
Hello, my name is Stormy. I 'm a 1 and a half year old pit bull and McNabb mix. I’m super smart, extremely loving and incredibly athletic. My first parents had to move away for work and I was going to go to a shelter. I would’ve lost everything I own as well as losing my family! Fortunately, my new parents found me right before I had to go into the shelter. I’m so relieved that they did because I didn’t have to lose my bed and toys and crate. It’s hard enough missing my family so much. At my new home I get to do so many things that I couldn’t do before. Best of all I found my new best friend Simon! He was super lonely before I got there. Now we got each other! Unfortunately , shortly after moving in, I had an accident while playing with Simon and I hurt my leg. The doctor said it would cost more than 5k $ for my surgery. Since I’ve gotten hurt I’ve been stuck in bed all day. I don’t get to play with my best friend or go on hikes or catch the Frisbee anymore. My family can’t afford to pay the vet bills, which are piling up, and I’m scared they may have to find a new home for me again. Please help my parents pay for my surgery so I can run again. I don’t want to lose my home or my best friend.
