Help Get This Tight Binder Off Sid!

Donation protected
Dearest friends, I've been binding for 5 years. I am ready to take it off, free my chest, spread my arms be free!

Binding is absolutely essential except that it physically hurts and makes it difficult to breathe easily. I wear it because it allows me to feel "right". In fact, it's not only in public that I wear my binder. I put it on first thing after I get out of bed, even to go to the restroom should I run into my housemates in the hall. It's tight, like a corset tight. Not only can I not wait to remove it so I can breathe and have my body be my own, but most of all I want to get on with my life and move beyond this stage -- one I've been in for 5 years. It's not MY chest. It's wrong. I need to do something about it and I'll keep working at this until I have surgery.

Gender Dysphoria is akin to a panic attack felt deeply in the body. When you're a transgender man, boobs are often the culprit in triggering Gender Dysphoria. It is VERY difficult to ask you for help with MY problem, but after many years I've literally found that I cannot do this on my own. All I can do is ask with the intention of this surgery being in alignment with my life path.

You may have seen my Cansforsid.jux.com page. As it turns out, the cost of picking up the cans (gas) is about equal to what I receive for the cans themselves, so I've tried to come up with more creative ways to fund surgery. In return, I've come up with several ideas to give back to you! I want this to feel fun and uplifting to you as well as to me, and I'm aiming for expanding my connections to all of you while freeing myself of something that has weighed me down for many years now.

Gender Confirming surgery runs, on average, about $10,000. Even though transgender surgeries are now covered by many insurance companies, doctors who perform the surgery refuse to participate because many insurance companies make reimbursement for transgender surgeries too difficult. I've been researching surgeons and there are indeed very few surgeons who perform 'top surgery' with any sort of expertise who will accept insurance in any form.

Finally, after lots of research, I found Dr. Charles Garramone in Sunrise, Florida, who charges a total of $6,500 for the procedure. I need to pay for airline tickets to Florida for my wife and I (they encourage bringing someone to care for patients after their surgery), hotel for a week while I'm there, food, etc., plus something for recovery time.

Between myself and pop cans, I am very slowly saving money, so slowly in fact that I've decided to do this fundraiser. It's time for me to move on with my life. This has been 5 solid years in the making, and quite frankly, this binder is driving me crazy.

I hope that some of the things on this site appeal to you, but if they don't you're always welcome to let me know what would! I'm here to give back just as much as I receive.

Your support, love, help, and involvement with my transition has been absolutely invaluable to me these past 5 years. I've just got to ask you for this one last push. And thank you again for whatever you can contribute, your support, and of course, your love.

Thank you again!
