Surgery medical expenses to save Houdini

Hi everyone. This is my cat Houdini that was rescued and I got from an animal shelter down. I’ve brought him to many animal clinics and animal hospitals after my veterinary clinic closed down in May. It’s been extremely tough. I’ve called around to find an animal clinic that will take a new animal due to the pandemic. Most of them book out from months from now. My cat needs an operation because his urine keeps crystalzing and blocking up his urethra and he’s straining to pass his urine. Because of this he also at times recently has had blood in his urine. If he can’t urinate, then it becomes toxic and he’ll die. I got one animal clinic to see him and they gave him antibiotics. He got a little better and was able to pee better but I brought him to an animal hospital a week ago because he got worse suddenly. They’ve given him two more medications and they aren’t working well. He’ll die without the surgery and they told me it’s around 4-5,000 which I don’t have as my hours were cut big time due to the pandemic.
