Surgery for Scarlett
Donation protected
Emma and Darren are two of the kindest people I know. They welcomed their precious bundle of joy Scarlett less than a year ago on May 25th, 2017. They were in love with Scarlett from day one and like all new parents were thankful for a healthy baby. But after a few months, their pediatrician noticed some irregularities with her facial features and ordered various tests. After several months and numerous doctor visits Darren and Emma found out their sweet baby girl has Bicoronal Craniosynostosis and will require frontal orbital and facial reconstructive surgery. This will require an extended stay in the ICU and serval weeks of recovery.
The doctors are hopeful of a positive outcome, but no parent is ever prepared for something like this. Scarlett's surgery will be in March. While they are very thankful to have health insurance, it will not cover all of the medical bills or any of the other expenses associated with missed work, out of town lodging, etc. We are raising money to help with these medical bills and other expenses.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful contributions. Emma and Darren greatly appreciate it.
