surgery for peruvian social worker

Dear Donor, Im asking for help to bring up the necessary costs for the urgent surgery of a peruvian woman working with me in a social project with children. My name is Vincent and I'm a german volunteer currently living in Cusco, Peru. For 4 months I've been working in the organisiation called "El Muju" ("seed" in Quechua, the native language). There I met Luz, the woman who's responsible and makes the project work. She has a very close relationship to the children (5-14yrs) and plays an important role in growing up and personal development. She is doing this also as a volunteer and besides this project she has a second volunteerjob, a parttime job and 4 studying kids to take care of. A week ago I was informed that she is ill and needs surgery (stomach) as soon as possible. When I tried talking to her she started crying and didn't want to worry either me nor the children. Luz doesn't have the money for the surgery and the medical treatment afterwards, because all the money she earns, she spends on her volunteersprojects or her studying children (and an insurance is not common here in Peru). During the time with her I've been experiencing how irreplaceable she is for the children. When we ask her what she is going to do now, she says the only thing she can do is keep praying to God and hoping for a miracle. So we hope we can be that miracle for her.
