Surgery for Ciabatta the 5 week old kitten

Ciabatta is a ridiculously adorable 5-week old kitten currently being syringe fed by a dedicated ACCT Philly foster mom.  Unfortunately, Ciabatta has just been diagnosed with a condition called "severe pectus excuvatum" which is a congenital deformity requiring surgery.  His chest wall is deformed and is pressing down on his internal organs.  This little kitten has already been through so much and is beating the odds, but without the surgery, he is at risk of experiencing severe respiratory distress which will be fatal.  With the surgery, he can live a normal, happy kitten existence.  The procedure is involved and is estimated to cost $3K-$5K. 

The purpose of this fundraiser is to allow a rescue to save Ciabatta.   All funds collected will only be paid on the rescue's behalf directly to the veterinary practice treating Ciabatta.  The receiving rescue must be a registered 501(c)(3) charity and must acknowledge possession of the funds.  The organizer will cover all GoFundMe fees, so the rescue will receive 100% of the donations.  If Ciabatta does not make it, funds will be refunded to donors.  Thank you for considering this little kitty.
