Surgery Expenses for Pastor Delbert Rhaburn Sr.

Delbert Rhaburn Sr. is currently 62 years old and has been a Baptist Pastor in Belize for over 40 years. He most notably served as the Pastor of the Crooked Tree Village Baptist and Faith Baptist Church in Roaring Creek Village, Belize. Pastor Rhaburn has been married to his wife, Hazel, for the past 36 years; together they have 6 children, the youngest of whom is 12 years old and is currently in his first year of high school.

Unfortunately, In 2020, Pastor Rhaburn was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), which may have been caused by his many years in the charcoal business as he has never smoked in his life. Due to the difficulties in managing the symptoms of his COPD, Pastor Rhaburn retired as a full time pastor in 2020 and currently supports his wife and minor child through a small, monthly Social Security pension.

In December 2023, Pastor Rhaburn faced further medical complications as he started suffering from muscle pains and increasing abdominal discomfort. With the support of family members, he underwent an ultrasound, UROSCAN and other medical tests which revealed a neurogenic bladder and renal cyst that requires surgery based on the size and discomfort it is causing. Doctors have recommended 2 surgical procedures which will cost an estimated $7800 USD combined.

As Pastor Rhaburn does not currently have medical insurance or an income to cover this cost, he is kindly seeking the generous donations of the public to assist him in getting the surgeries as soon as possible to relieve him of his pain and discomfort.
