Charles Rodriguez AKA Gorgocho is in very bad health and needs our help. Charles is located in a Country that does not allow him to setup a GoFundMe so we are doing this for him. The goal is $4,000 which will cover the initial cost of his surgery but will not cover the follow up appointments and medications, anything raised beyond the $4,000 will go towards any additional medical costs that Charles may incur. On June 28, he was hospitalized and underwent a laparoscopic cholecystectomy in which the gallbladder was removed because this organ presented multiple stone formations.
2 weeks after the surgery Charles began to present abdominal pain that seemed to be associated with poor digestion or intolerance to the post-operative diet, and since he did not present signs indicating another cause he was given by his doctor the drug Colypan (a medication that aid to the postoperative restart of the digestive system), although the first 24 hours elapsed normally, a heavier pain was presented the following day and the patient had to go to the hospital as an emergency because the pain was not felt due to the use of analgesics. . That same day, hematology and liver profile tests were performed. In the examination of the Hepatic profile, 2 highly increased values appeared that of Bilirubin and transaminases reaching almost tripling of the normal values. He was asked to perform an abdominal colangioresonance to rule out the presence of stones in the bile duct.
On Monday, July 16, after delivering the results of the MRI, the Doctor notifies him that there are 3 calculations of approximately 4mm each housed in the bile duct and that it is urgently necessary to remove them with another surgical intervention before one of these 3 calculations can enter the pancreatic duct and generate greater damage.
This is the part where we should help Charles because at this moment he needs
$4,000 to receive a second surgery and to have his stones removed by
ERCP procedure (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography).

El día 28 de Junio fue hospitalizado y se le realizo una Colecistectomía Laparoscópica en la que se le extirpo la vesícula biliar debido a que este órgano presentaba múltiples formaciones de cálculos.
2 semanas después de la cirugía Charles comenzó a presentar dolores abdominales que parecían ser asociados a mala digestión o intolerancia a la dieta post operatoria, y ya que no presentaba signos que indicaran otra causa le fue suministrado por su doctor el medicamento Colypan ( un medicamento que ayuda a el reinicio post operatorio del sistema digestivo ) si bien las primeras 24 horas transcurrieron con normalidad se presento un cuadro de dolor mas fuerte el día siguiente y tubo que entrar por emergencia a al hospital ya que el dolor no sedia ante el consumo de analgésicos. Ese mismo día se le realizaron exámenes de hematología y perfil hepático. En el examen del perfil Hepático aparecieron 2 valores altamente aumentados lo de la Bilirrubina y las transaminasas llegando casi a triplicar de los valores normales. Se le pidió realizarse una Colangioresonancia abdominal para descartar la presencia de cálculos en la vía biliar.
El día lunes 16 de Julio después de entregar los resultados de la resonancia magnética el Doctor le notifica que existen 3 cálculos de aproximadamente 4mm cada uno alojados dentro del Colédoco y que se necesita con carácter de urgencia removerlos con otra intervención quirúrgica antes de que uno de estos 3 cálculos puedan ingresar al conducto pancreático y generen un daño mayor.
Esta es la parte donde debemos ayudar a Charles ya que en este momento necesita $4.000 para recibir una segunda cirugía y que le sean removidos los cálculos con el
procedimiento de CPRE (colangiopancreatografía retrógrada endoscópica).
