Surgery and care for Remington the Mastiff

Remington is an English Mastiff,  Rescue dog. I live in Ontario, Canada, have been wanting to rescue for a long time, I saw his face on MastiffsRus Rescue page and fell in love immediately! Unfortunately,  he was all the way in New York living at a foster home with his foster mom and 5 other dogs.    He was born with Hip Dysplasia, a turned in hock on the same side,  lots of trust issues, and now he has torn his ACL!!!  *I guess it happens due to the lack of help from the hip and foot.  I have pet insurance but they have not helped me as much as I had expected and do not cover the amount of visits that I have had to have for Remington, his regular visits, which are more than a normal pet owner would have, none of his heart meds, medications, CBD oil, vitamins for his bones and joints(which all bigger dog breeds need) ect.  The bills are piling up fast and now the surgery......$5000.00!!!!  WOW! When I rescued him, as I am sure a lot of other rescue moms and dads do not think of, I never thought for a minute that any of this would be happening, nor did I think when I saw that handsome face, that my bank account would be suffering this much!!! I know most people do not care, and say that I should have been prepared to expect this........NO.....I did not, and he will only be 3 yrs old in Feb.  I rescued him Feb. 10th 2020, have not even had him for a year,  and I am not going to get out my calculator, but,  most probably have gone through about six thousand dollars already, maybe more, definitely not less, and now the surgery coming up on Nov 5th.  There has never been a question in my mind whether he is worth this or not, he absolutely is....100000000%. he has helped me more in the short time I have had him, mentally, than any human ever could.  It is hard to explain to non-pet lovers, but y'all like me out there understand.  Well, this is my story, so far, probably left things out that could have been mentioned but I can always answer any questions anyone may have anytime, as I have had to stop working to be home with him for now, he has to be watched as he is not allowed to run or play tug ect., or he is in danger of more injury and/or injuring the other leg, which will put me in the poor house!!!!! NO!!!!!!  He will be layed up an additional  6 to 8 weeks or more after, not sure if any of you know, but it is not easy lifting a 180 pound dog, he will be in a cast at first, I HAVE ALOT OF STAIRS!!!!! There is no place without stairs to get outside here.....ramps are on the brain and he is way to heavy for plywood, I know that as getting him home out of the vehicle after x-rays was, well, challenging, he was a little(lot!) dopey from the meds and could not get out, of course it was raining so I could not leave him with the windows down.  Thanks to anyone and everyone reading and considering to help us.  Blessings, Peace, Love, Health and Happiness to all.
