Supranee Tymmy Cabarse - memorial fund & support for family

Our dear friend, Supranee was only 43 years old when she lost her long battle with cancer on 2nd April 2024. Supranee was a devoted wife to Oscar and loving mother to Ocean (10 yrs old). She previously worked as an early childhood educator but had to stop working due to her illness. Supranee was diagnosed with advanced thymoma in 2019 which is a rare cancer of the thymic gland (in the chest). She underwent open heart surgery in 2020. Since then, she has sadly spent long periods of time in hospital and has experienced multiple medical complications including aplastic anaemia (bone marrow not working well), bronchiectasis (making her prone to chest infections) and more recently vision loss relating to a very rare medication related reaction. She faced these challenges bravely and with a positive attitude and her family were always the main focus of her thoughts. During this time, she has received unwavering support and care from her family, especially her devoted husband, Oscar who spent as much time as possible at the hospital caring for her. Throughout this period, Oscar has also been caring for their 10-year-old son, Ocean who is a talented musician, keen sportsman and great friend to many. This beautiful family are now left devastated by the loss of their beloved wife and mother and unfortunately also face enormous financial burden. One of Supranee’s last wishes was for her ashes to be returned to her homeland, Thailand. Unfortunately, after years of reduced income due to caring for Supranee, Oscar is unable to cover all the funeral costs and also repatriation of Supranee’s ashes to Thailand. Wow! Thank you so much! As you can imagine Oscar is very busy at the moment with all the arrangements associated with giving Su the farewell she deserves. But he wanted me to pass on that he is deeply grateful and incredibly touched by the overwhelming support. This means he can focus his attention on supporting his son rather than worrying about money.
