Support The Brown Family

Darren Brown is a husband and father to three gorgeous girls (Caite aged 13, Megan aged 11 and Ruby aged 5).  After a routine chest x-ray in September, Darren was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer.  Darren had no symptoms and was living life to the fullest as he has always done with his family.

What is stage IV lung cancer:
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death and the fifth most common cancer diagnosed in Australia. It is responsible for almost one in five cancer deaths in Australia.  There is no cure.

Darren has been advised to stop work, which he has done and has started chemotherapy to prolong his life.  Of course, we are looking for a miracle so he can be here for his girls and watch them reach adulthood and achieve their dreams.

Darren is the world to his family and his heart belongs to his family.  He has a saying "family before friends" which they live by.  Darren was the major breadwinner in the household and now that has been taken away.  The older girls have already lost their birth dad, so to have to go through this with him is an absolute nightmare.  The family are staying as positive as they can be.
