Supporting Stella on her recover
Hello Everyone!
We are friends of Stella, who is an international student from Colombia, living in Brisbane, Australia. She was studying a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and care when she was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Stella has already commenced with her chemotherapy treatment for the next 6 months and the doctors have recommended to stop studying and working, due to the fact that her health is very delicate and at risk of worsening.
Being away from her family, friends and country, it is our duty to support and be with her. As an international student rent, groceries, living expenses and health checks are expensive, so we want to help take a weight of Stella’s shoulders so she can focus on her chemotherapy treatment and her recovery.
As a result of this unfortunate situation we are reaching out to you so you can give us a hand. The money will be exclusively to support Stella in her day-to-day expenses, plus her medical treatment such as :
• Chemotherapy (1 fourthnightly)
•X-Ray Chest - (2 weekly) $100AUD per test
•Room - Hospital - 800AUD per night
•Rent per week - $135AUD
•Special diet (groceries) - $300AUD per week
•Transport - $100AUD per week
•General weekly expenses - $200AUD
Helping Stella is so close to our hearts. This disease could take hold of anyone, and for a bright young girl, living away from her family it is a very tough situation.
Cancer doesn't wait, so the sooner we can help, the better!
Any kind of help is more than welcome. We believe the world is a big family and we need to help out each other.
Your support means the world to us and we can never thankyou enough! Every life is precious and deserves to be lived.
