Teen Tech Israel

My name is Raeann Silassy. I am a senior at Fort Cherry Junior/Senior High School. I was recently accepted into a special program in Israel for select high school students who excel in STEM subjects. The program starts onDecember 12 and I am only $1800 away from turning this dream into a reality.
I hope you can help!
In September, my teacher and principal urged me to apply to this program called HaifaTeenTech. Haifa Teen Tech will allow me to study STEM topics and solve problems in hospitals and work in small groups to problem-solve and design new technologies. This will all be taught by Nobel Laureate, Avraham Hershko and will be partnered with the Technion University (one of the most elite technology schools in the world). I will also be given the opportunity to tour Israel and visit Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea.
Personally, I did not think I would get accepted to such an opportunity, but one morning in late October I woke up and there was a congratulations email on my phone! I was excited to learn that I was also granted the highest amount of scholarship possible- making this program almost affordable!
About me: I am actively involved in my community and at school. I have a passion for STEM subjects (Science - Technology - Engineering – Mathematics) and Psychology. I am college bound and will be attending Gannon or Edinboro University with an Undeclared Major. My career interests include Psychology, Criminal Justice (Forensics), Teaching, Engineering and Spanish.
My parents are also very excited about this program and support me wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, we just can’t afford the full cost since it is only six weeks away.
Anything is appreciated!!
Sincerely,
Raeann Silassy
