Support North Dakota Music Therapy

The Music Therapy Association of North Dakota (MTAND) intends to commission a professional strategic marketing analysis to assess the viability of a University of North Dakota Music Therapy degree. This document could be used in lobbying efforts on campus, with the North Dakota University System State Higher Ed Board, and also with members of the State Legislature. A Research and Evaluation firm has been contacted and the amount requested reflects their estimate. Emily Wangen, President of MTAND, will manage the donations. It is important to note that although the common perception seems to be that the Music Therapy program at UND has been terminated, it has not. That decision rests with the NDUS State Board and since none of the required paperwork and associated review has been initiated, they have made no determination. That being the case, continuing the effort to overturn the enrollment suspension is worthwhile.
