Nicholas' Medical Expense Fund

Donation protected
Back in June, 7 Month old Nicholas was diagnosed with Botulism. Botulism is a very rare, but serious paralytic illness caused by a nerve toxin that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
Nicholas was in critical condition, as he was placed in PICU at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in the begining of June. He received the one treatment of the antitoxin for botulism, which only stops the progression of illness, and doesn't cure it. This treatment alone can cost upwards of 45,000 dollars.

Friends and close family have put this together for donations to go towards the medical bills for when Nicholas was is in Westchester and the rehabilitation hospital.
The Westchester hospital is affiliated with the Ronald McDonald house, where family members have the ability to stay while their famliy members are critically ill, as it is purely a donation funded facility. Dean, Kate, and Dean Jr have the priveledge to stay there from donations of generous people, as they recently received a donation of a 1,000 dollars from Jeremy Smith.

In July, Nicholas was able to come home. He received in home treatment and therapy sessions. He is due to make a complete recovery, and live a happy, healthy, beautiful life.

Once the goal has been reached for the medical bills, the excess funds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald house so it can help the next family in need.

Thank you for your support, and God bless.
