Support My Artist Residency in Italy
Donation protected
Dear Friends, I am thrilled to announce that I have been accepted as an Artist in Residence at La Macina di San Cresci in the Tuscany region of Italy (about an hour from Florence). The residency is located in an 10th century restored church complex.
In May 2014 I have the opportunity to live and work in this beautiful setting. I will be concentrating on developing my craft for two intense weeks, dialoguing with other resident artists from around the world, and studying with Italian painters.
Please click the title of the residency highlighted above for more information on this opportunity.
The cost of the residency (accommodations, studio space) is $1,889 (1400 Euros). A round-trip flight will cost approximately $1,150. This site (while convenient) takes a 5% commission of my funds raised.
Therefore, I am hoping to raise $3,500 to go towards my expenses by offering special "support my residency" offers.
If you are an art-lover or appreciator, I hope that you will consider purchasing a painting or portrait commission. Your purchase will directly support my residency expenses.
**All existing paintings and gift certificates listed below can be delivered, shipped or picked-up before Christmas**
As I have limited space here, please see my Facebook page
for important details on all rewards listed below including PICTURES of the paintings available.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!
I will be presenting an exhibit of paintings completed at this residency in the late summer or early fall of 2014 in Salisbury, NC.
ALL supporters will receive an invitation to the wine and heavy hors d'oeuvre opening reception of the exhibit. Business supporters at the $350+ level will be listed as SPONSORS of my residency in addition to receiving their purchase.
A sponsorship will include the following:
-Name included in press releases sent to several local newspapers (Stanly News and Press, Salisbury Post, Charlotte Observer, Independent Tribune).
-Frequent social media "thanks" (Facebook, Twitter) with links to your business page if applicable.
-Sponsor listings (logo, web link, etc.) on my monthly/bi-monthly Constant Contact mass emails.
-Logo placement and recognition on all printed and online invitations to the Opening Reception of Exhibit of Works Completed at Italian Residency date TBD (late summer or early fall 2014).
-Any additional feasible advertising, promotions, etc. that I can offer to support your business. I'm happy to discuss this with you in advance of your sponsorship.
