Supporting the Ware Family

It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ms. Stormey Ware. Ms. Stormey Ware passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 14th in Denver, CO. To say we are brokenhearted is an understatement. Ms. Stormey was the most loving presence in her family’s life and was a pillar within her community.

Ms. Stormey is the proud mom of three incredible and inspiring daughters: Rae'ven, Rayael, and Rianna Ware. Rayael is a DSST: Cole alum and current student at CU-Denver and Rianna is a Junior at DSST: Cole HS. In the DSST: Cole community, both Rayael and Rianna excel in their academics, sports and extracurriculars, and are incredibly active in this community. At Ray and Rianna’s games, you could always count on Ms. Stormey enthusiastically cheering on her girls, and the entire team, at Manual’s Thunderdome.

Known as Mama Stormey, Ms. Stormey was instrumental in helping DSST: Cole HS launch a community food pantry to support Cole families during the pandemic. Every week, Ms. Stormey, Rayael, and Rianna would spend hours packing individual boxes of non-perishable and perishable food items to then help distribute to Cole families later in the week. 9News even featured Ms. Stormey and her girls for giving back to their Cole community.

During this difficult time, let us wrap our arms around Ms. Stormey’s daughters and support them in the very same way she supported us all. Ms. Stormey leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and generosity. Her legacy will proudly live on through her daughters. As a community, let us commit to honoring Ms. Stormey through supporting Rayael and Rianna.

All donations will go directly to supporting Ms. Stormey’s two girls, Rayael and Rianna Ware, to help with end of life costs and future expenses.
