Supporting the Cabral Family

Hi, I’m Shawna. I’m writing this on behalf of one amazing little girl and two fantastic parents. Ashlee & Tony Cabral and their little girl Emersyn.
Last Saturday - September 8th - what seemed like a normal cold has now developed into a parents worst nightmare.
Currently, Emersyn is in the hospital - she was in Cambridge and now has been transferred to McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton.
She has had multiple seizures, raging fevers, and has developed a rare condition which has caused the entire right side of her brain to swell. Currently, her left side of her body is paralyzed.
This is a journey no parent ever wants to travel down. Prayers and positive vibes are much needed and appreciated during this time of need.
The Cabral family is unsure of how long their hospital stay will be, what recovery will look like and what life will hold for their future routine and day to day life with Emersyn’s condition. Any financial support that can be given is much appreciated.
The family asks for privacy at this time and updates will be given when able. Thank you for your support,
