Supporting Tara and Lennie

This is something I wished I didn’t have to write, it’s a position I truly hoped I wouldn’t have ever found myself in, and it’s not one I would wish on anyone.
My amazing sister Tara and her beautiful daughter Lennie have now had their worlds turned upside down, and both have lost the most special man in their lives.
Camo fought the good fight against a merciless disease for as long as his body was willing. If all the love that Camo has given and received in his 31 years on Earth would have been enough to keep him here - he would have lived forever.
The logistics of having to survive without her partner is something very far from Tara’s mind right now, but also something that will become very real, quickly. As you know, Tara is not the kind of person to ask for this help, but from the overwhelming questions from friends and family about where they can give money we thought this would be the safest way to provide support. Just as importantly in the weeks and years to come, friends and family who can be there as an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on.
Over the last 5 years Tara has been Camo’s biggest support, so I thank you for being hers. Knowing his two girls being looked after will be the most important thing to Camo, our mate, our family, our darling Camo.
