Supporting Steve Boulware

Donation protected
Our longtime friend, fun-loving and easy-going Steve Boulware, fell on July 4 and required emergency back surgery to relieve pressure in his neck that has caused loss of movement from his shoulders down. After 2 weeks in ICU in Indiana, he was transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee where he received respiratory therapy for several weeks until he was able to breathe on his own. Currently, Steve is at UW Health Rehab in Madison receiving therapy and preparing him to go home. He has reached many goals along the way and has maintained a positive attitude.

For months, many friends and family have been asking how they can help Steve and his family. With Steve scheduled to come home at the end of October, we are at the point that we realized they need help from our community. Home renovations, such as ramps and smart home devices, medical equipment, including, a motorized wheelchair and hospital bed, as well as home health care, including continuing physical and respiratory therapy, are just some of the expenses the Boulware family now faces. Please consider donating to help us reach our goal of $75,000.

Steve is an avid sports fan and has spent many years coaching youth baseball and football in Germantown. He is also the strongest guy we know, but he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He could use all the help we can give. Financial donations, prayers and positive thoughts are all greatly appreciated.
