Phillip Noffz Memorial Fund
Phillip Noffz’s life was suddenly taken on July 7, 2020 in a tragic violent crime. His family has lost a brother and a friend. At 28 years old, Phillip was working to complete his degree in engineering at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). In his free time, Phillip was very passionate about athletics. He played football Semi-professionally for the Chicago Falcons and created a boxing club at NEIU. Despite all the obstacles he faced, Phillip always found a way to learn a new skill and apply it to his everyday life.
Phillip cared for his younger sibling, Raymond, after both parents passed away. Raymond relied on him for not just his emotional support but also for financial stability. Raymond, who is 20 years old, is now responsible for Phillip's burial costs along with his own relocation costs, educational costs and sudden expenses that are overwhelming to sustain while coping with his unexpected tragic loss.
While Raymond will continue to work part-time at the Park Ridge Police Department as a Police Cadet and a football coach at Maine East High School, he will also continue to attend college full-time. Raymond will need our support to help through this very emotional time in his life so that he can continue to thrive and achieve his goals, just as Phillip, his guardian, and amazing older brother, wanted him to.
