Onyx's Medical Care & Continued Support

Dear Friends & Family,

Our beautiful Miniature Schnauzer Onyx is battling back from a diagnosis of kidney disease. There are so many unknowns yet we remain hopeful for a prognosis that will allow her to continue along with a healthy quality of life.

The cost of her medical care has been and will continue to be significant. While Teddy and I count ourselves fortunate to have been able to garner care for her to date it was no longer financially feasible to keep her hospitalized, even while it would have been the preferred course of action. She is home with us while we continue to administer her care per doctor's orders. She is on multiple medications to assist with nausea, appetite stimulants, an antibiotic, and subcutaneous fluids. She has been responding to her treatment and we're hoping to continue supporting her medically as we're able.

Many have asked how they could support our continued care for Onyx, particularly with the financial burden. We don't have the words to express our gratitude. In an effort to centralize it in a way that is helpful we decided to set up this GoFundMe. We'll utilize this page to continue providing updates as well as sharing on our personal social media and the girls' instagram account (@sterling_onyx).

We hope to personally thank every individual who can contribute. Any denomination is welcome. We also continue to accept your love, positivity, and prayers. We know our community of support is a huge reason why we've been able to cope and why she is continuing to improve. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us directly.
