Albanian Bus Accident Victims - Fund for Families

This GoFundMe is to help support the families of the at least 45 Albanian victims who tragically died in a bus crash and combustion accident. The travelers were ethnic Albanian tourists returning back to Northern Macedonia

 

This campaign is run by Albanian masters students and community organizers at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. 

We have worked with the Embassy of Macedonia to organize and deliver this donation. The donations will be distributed by the Embassy of Macedonia to the identified families of victims. The money collected will be withdrawn to my personal bank account then sent to them outside of GoFundMe and deposited into their bank accounts following the end of the fundraiser. Arben Bilali, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Washington, D.C. is our direct contact helping us fulfill this donation.

Procedure for delivering the money to the families of victims:

1. We have identified all of the victims and their families.

2. The fundraiser will end January 1, 2022.

3. The money collected will be sent to them and deposited into their bank accounts following the end of the fundraiser. 

4. All deposits to the victims families will be recorded and receipts of the transactions will be provided as record information, including pertinent information like name, deposit date, and deposit amount. All donations, and every single dollar amount will be accounted for and tracked to assure FULL transparency in the process.
