Supporting Emily & Seth - RIP Rhys

After a 6 month battle with cardiac issues Rhys passed away on Sunday 5th Nov 2017, leaving behind many grieving family and friends, including his 23 year old partner Emily and their infant son.
Rhys had his first massive heart attack in June 2017. Thereafter he was taken to hospital on a weekly to fortnightly basis - sometimes admitted, other times discharged from emergency with no follow up care. The delay to have a pacemaker put in, and lack of adequate treatment and access to outpatient care has had tragic consequences.
Rhys and Emily struggled financially because centrelink stated that their Disability and Carers Pension applications would take 6 months due to an increase in the departments workload. Rhys passed away before this would occur.
Unfortunately Rhys did not have a will. This means all his assets are frozen, including the bank account containing their last centrelink benefit. Emily and Seth currently have no cash. All of the family financial commitments are in Rhys's name. Until the coroner releases the report no death certificate can be supplied.
I would like to raise funds to support Emily & Seth financially.
Their immediate needs are:
rent payment ($450) - it is stuck in Rhys's bank
cash for groceries ($200)
petrol money ($50)
flights to & from QLD for the funeral (up to $600 depending on when the funeral is)
money to pay for professionally taken photos, won in a competition very recently - Emily has no photos for the funeral or for Seth to see when he is older (cheapest photo is $475)
Longer term Emily may need help with:
a house move if she is unable to stay in their house
money toward memorialising Rhys's ashes
solicitors fees for a medical negligence lawsuit
private health insurance (so that they will never have to totally rely on the failing public health system)
an education fund for Seth
