Eddie's Brain Cancer Fund

On September 20, 2013 at the age of 53, Edward Dwight, father of 5, grandfather of 4, was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor known as a glioblastoma multiform. He underwent major brain surgery on September 27, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is finally home and slowly recovering from the surgery, and in a few short days he will start intense radiation and chemotherapy treatments 5 days a week lasting for about 15 months. During this time Eddie will be unable to work let alone take care of himself. As the sole provider for his wife and special needs daughter, his illness is detrimental to his family's financial status. The monetary benefits from his employer will be short lived and with no idea whether this battle with brain cancer will be won or lost we are reaching out to our friends, family, and caring strangers alike for any assistance they are able to provide, no dollar amount is too small. Cancer is an unbiased disease that can affect anyone, we hope that no one reading this has to endure the hardship and heartache of watching a loved one fight for their life and have such an uncertain future. Thank you for your support in this trying time for our family.
