Xander's Club-ball fundraiser

As many of you know Xander loves playing baseball and has got an amazing talent to play the game well. He has excelled in Little League and even made the All-Stars teams.

He plays club/travel ball now. These baseball organizations play year-round and compete in local leagues and tournaments, as well as out of state tournaments. Most of these organizations have very experienced coaches and even former Major League Players as a coaches. There are many kids who tryout to make these teams, but usally only the best players make the rosters. These organizations only excepts the most talented players who display the best work ethic and best attitudes, to make their team, and Xander has been identified as one of them.

This is a big opportunity for Xander, one which can help give him a real chance to make his dreams of playing baseball in High School, College and maybe one day Professionally come true. But unfortunately, it is also a costly opportunity. There are monthly team dues, monthly tournament entry fees, uniform cost, equipment cost, and travel expenses that are required to participate. Xander is serious and dedicated enough to baseball that he has already choosen to use his own birthday money to buy new equipment and help pay for fees instead buying video games or toys like most other kids his age do. It is very easy to see how much he loves playing baseball and how much he wants this opportunity. Mom and Dad are also ready to do as much as we can to financially support him, but this opportunity and it's cost are not just for one season or even one year, it is a reoccurring opportunity and expense which may last into his high school years.

He is also going to Cooperstown NY this upcoming August, which is a huge expense! He has been findraising for the money, if you want to donate to his  Cooperstowns trip you can do so here!
