SUPPORT PAOLA'S HEALING JOURNEY
As many of you know, Paola McHugh was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in October, 2016. Her doctors discovered Paola had over twenty tumors in her thoracic region.
Paola endured fifty hours of chemotherapy every two weeks through May, 2017. She felt exhausted and her quality of life had depleted.
Paola's healer recommended an alternative direction and suggested she attend a Spring Forest Qigong www.springforestqigong.com, cancer healing retreat in California this past June. While there, Paola learned alternative healing methods which boost the immune system to fight cancer.
Others who are fighting cancer (some in remission) also attended the retreat. They exchanged information about alternative methods in the fight. After meeting such cancer warriors Paola felt a renewed sense of hope.
With the support of her husband, Paola informed her doctor that she was going to take a break from chemotherapy. Her doctor was hesitant, however, her persistence for quality of life has been nothing short of enlightening not only for her but her entire family. Paola knows that she is on the right track and is healing her body.
Paola discovered Budwig Protocol from friends who suggested she check it out. She came into contact with a man who shared his story of complete remission from lymphoma using the Budwig Protocol. Since then he has become a mentor to Paola which led her to follow the protocol herself.
The next phase in treatment requires Paola to travel to Spain where she will undergo cutting edge treatment at Budwig Center www.budwigcenter.com. This treatment will build and support a healthy immune system to fight the results of chemotherapy and will give Paola a chance to build up the strength to beat her cancer.
Paola is a strong woman who will fight this with everything she has. She wants to be here and well for her four beautiful children and her loving and supportive husband. She is a beautiful person and her positive attitude inspires and touches many people. Her spirit remains positive considering the health and emotional issues that stage 4 cancer diagnosis brings about.
We hope to reach our fundraising goals by August 30, 2017. This will cover the cost of travel and treatment at the clinic.
