Jordon O'Dell & Family

On Saturday February 18, 2016 our son, brother, and friend, Jordon O'Dell, was involved in a serious accident from which he sustained major life threatening injuries. He was rushed to St. Charles in Bend, Oregon, and immediately transported to Portland for specialized care. Currently Jordon remains in critical, yet still potentially life-threatening condition, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon; he will be facing a very long and arduous recovery ahead. The current forecast for Jordon involves at least 5 majorly intensive surgeries in the coming weeks, and several more in the months or more to follow. In addition, there is a serious concern at this time that he may completely lose his vision; a loss of which will require a tremendous amount of therapy to establish a new life routine and basic function. Due to Jordon's constantly changing condition, it is hard to say at this time what other issues may arise.

At this time Jordon does not have adequate medical insurance that his family is aware of. This, in addition to lost wages, is causing a mounting financial burden upon him. Jordon and his family live in Central Oregon, however, due to Jordon's condition he will have to remain in Portland for an unknown, extended period of time. This financial burden will also be placed on Jordon's immediate family whom will need to be traveling back and forth to Portland- spending many nights at their own expense, and also suffering lost wages.

Many members of Jordon's family, friends, and community members have reached out requesting means to give monetary support for Jordon and his immediate family. As so, we have established a donations account in Jordon's name at Wells Fargo Bank, and linked it with this page. Any monetary support you wish to give for Jordon and his family can be made either online through this campaign, or by visiting any Wells Fargo branch and making a deposit to the "Jordon O'Dell Donation Fund".

The donations recieved through this campaign and the account set up with Wells Fargo bank, will go towards covering Jordon's medical costs and lost wages; as well as the traveling, overnight accomodations, and lost wages of his immediate family who need to be with him during this tragic time.  

The family is doing their very best to keep everyone updated on Jordon's condition. We would like ask that their privacy continue to be respected, as this is an extremely difficult time for them and will be for a while. They are greatly appreciative of the many kind words and prayers being sent, as well as the many photos everyone has been posting of Jordon. We are in complete awe of the insurmountable love and support everyone has shown. We will continue to post updates of Jordon's status on this page as things progress.
