Support for Ellie & Mila Medeiros

“Last night we unexpectedly lost my nephew, Matt. Always a young soul, he loved his family with all his heart. Especially the love of his life, his wife Elvina and his precious 2 year old daughter, Mila. He positively adored being a dad and he was a great one. I’ve attached a couple of pictures I took when Mila was a newborn. You can see how much he loved both his ladies. Luckily we’re all a little picture happy, especially Ellie, so we have lots and lots of pictures to keep Matt alive in our hearts and memories.Christmas was his favorite time of year. He just finished decorating my sister’s tree yesterday, and was so looking forward to the holiday. We here have all vowed to have the holiday Matt would have wanted so we’ll find a way to make that happen. Mila, I’m sure, will keep us moving ahead because that’s what 2 year olds do. But it’s a new normal here in my family and it’s an almost unbearable loss right now. Please keep my sister, Lynn and her husband Bob in your thoughts as well as Ellie, Mila and Matt’s sisters Rebecca and Melyssa. My heart is broken for all of us.” Gail
