After a lifetime of survival and sacrifice, Zenaida is so close to fully owning her home — and needs a little help to take the final step toward stability and healing.

Hi, my name is Zenaida, and this is one of the hardest most honest things I’ve ever had to write.

I grew up in a world where love was mixed with pain, and survival came before everything else. From a young age, I was taught to use my body to survive, and that lesson followed me through years of trauma, addiction, and heartbreak. I’ve spent most of my life trying to break free from that cycle — learning how to be the person I never got to see growing up: someone stable, healthy, and safe.

Over the years, I’ve placed four of my children for adoption — each one into a loving, supportive family who could give them what I couldn’t at the time.

I made that choice because I wanted them to grow up surrounded by love and stability, never having to experience the kind of pain, fear, or struggle that I did. And they’re thriving — safe, happy, and loved. For that, I will always be grateful.

But every time one of those adoption processes ended, I realized how unprepared I had left myself to stand on my own afterward.

This time, I chose to do things differently. I used every resource available to me during my last pregnancy to build real stability — to finally create a foundation for myself. I’ve been working hard at an RV resort, and for the first time in my life, I have a home of my own — an RV that represents my freedom, my healing, and my chance to start again.

I’m so close to paying it off. Once it’s mine, my monthly costs will drop from nearly $3,000 to about $1,000 — making it possible for me to finally get ahead and keep building a healthy, stable life.

Unfortunately, after a very painful delivery and some unexpected complications, I’ve been unable to continue working. I’m eager to get back, but the recovery and medical challenges have made it hard to cover my remaining expenses.

I’m asking for a little help to finish what I started — to pay off my RV, cover rent, and keep a small cushion while I recover and get back on my feet. My goal is $3,500, which will help me finally secure my home and stay stable as I continue healing and rebuilding.

This isn’t just about money. It’s about someone who’s fought her entire life to survive finally having a chance to live — to breathe, to heal, and to move forward without fear.
