Support Zac’s Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
On Saturday 21st September 2023 Keeley and Jake received news no parents ever want to hear, their little boy Zac, only two years and 9 months old, has a brain tumour. On the 23rd September Zac had Brain Surgery to remove the tumour.
While the surgery to remove the tumour was successful, biopsies taken later showed that it was cancer. Zac has ependymoma.
Unfortunately despite the best efforts of the fantastic surgeons at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Zac has developed posterior fossa syndrome since his surgery. This means he is undergoing neurorehabiliration to relearn how to eat, speak, walk, sit… the list goes on.
Zac has a long road ahead of him. Starting with proton radiation treatment, for which they will have to travel to Manchester once Zac is strong enough to do so.
I am so proud of how strong Jake and Keeley have been for Zac. I am heartbroken that his little sister is missing her brother dearly, and is wondering when all of her family will be home together again.
Please help me in raising funds to support them during their journey, so they can be by Zac’s side every step of the way, and receive the additional help Zac and they need as they walk this path together
How you can help:
•Make a donation, however big or small, any contribution no matter the size will help.
•Share this with your friends, family, and coworkers.
•Bring awareness to cancer in children, and recognise the signs. Always remember parents know their children best! If you have concerns, raise them with your doctor.
Thank you for your help
