My name is Joshua Veale. I live in Baltimore, MD, I am 19 years old, and I’ve been releasing music under the moniker “abstract.” for the last year. Music has always been my way of venting and making people smile, and I truly believe I have a gift that will help me and the ones I care about make it out of the city. Unfortunately, the process of making music is not cheap, from paying for promo, to performance slots, to studio time, to instrumental leases, it’s very taxing on the pockets. I was able to make ends meet for a while, but with the current job that I have, I’m not able to simultaneously fund myself and my music career. I will also be going back to school soon, meaning that I’ll have even less time for writing, recording, and promoting myself. That’s why I’ve come to you for help; anything you can spare will help me greatly.
