Support Will George's Impact Work to #StopTMX

WHAT'S HAPPENING:

The colonial Canadian state is building the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion (TMX) through unceded land, without Will George’s or Tsleil-Waututh Nation's consent.

TMX will increase oil tanker traffic sevenfold, create an almost guaranteed risk of oil spills, fuel a huge increase in oil production and consumption, and push the critically endangered Southern Resident orcas further towards extinction.

This oil pipeline is living proof of Canada's inaction on the climate crisis and Canada's ongoing colonization of Indigenous peoples and communities.

WHY THIS FUNDRAISER:

Will George, the keeper of the Watch House and a spokesperson for Protect the Inlet, has been one of the leaders of the resistance to stop the construction of the pipeline.

Funds raised will go to Will’s impact work and ongoing legal expenses to allow him to continue raising his voice and fighting this dangerous pipeline and oil tanker project.
