Support West Wight Alpacas & Llamas
Donation protected
During these uncertain times we wish the best to all of our friends, family and followers of West Wight Alpacas & Llamas.
Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think that we would to ask for financial help to keep the farm running. We closed on the 16th March 2020 to the public. This has meant that 100% our income has disappeared over night and this is at the end of a long hard winter with the overdraft ramped up to the maximum already. We have already cut our overheads as far as we can but we still still have over 200 mouths to feed, bedding to buy and vet bills to cover.
We are coming into our birthing season at the farm and we are likely to need the vets help at times. Our animals need hay, straw for and they all need their specialist feed and vitamins.
We have looked at all of our outgoings and we have tried to cut costs where possible. We do not know when we will be able to re-open but we believe it will be a long way off.
We are looking at different ways to bring income in and we have come up with the following ideas. Adopt one of our animals on the farm and we will be offering various packages or you can donate via gofundme which will be used just help us buy animal feed.
All monies raised will be spent on the animals themselves not the humans.
We are desperately in need of your support at this incredibly difficult time for all of us. None of us know how this will pan out or how long it will last however you can support the farm and most importantly our animals, no amount too small but our feed and vets bills on their own come to just over £1,500 a month.
We know times are hard and there are lots of worthy cause so we thank you in advance for any contribution that you are able to make. We will fight this one and all!
