January 2025. Dear All, I once again need your help. In February I must start 4 weeks of Radiation. I have called several near me and none accept my Insurance. I will have no choice but to find a place in Deerfield for the month. If you have an air bnb or wish to sponsor my stay please message me. Im looking at any and all options. Air BNB I find too expensive but I have found that the Quality in by UHealth Deerfield is not that expensive. After the Radiation, because this is so aggressive, i will be placed on 2 medications plus an infusion every 6 months as a preventative. Please help me complete this part of the journey. Thank you.

Hi, my name is Velma and I am 64 years old. I've been in remission for 18 years from Lymphoma. This past week I received the news that I have estrogen positive aggressive metastatic breast cancer. The need for the GoFundMe is for housing, incidentals and supplies needed for chemo, radiation and surgery. I wish to the Universe that this was not so but unfortunately a little lump has turned into so much more. My treatments are in Sylvester cancer center Plantation and am currently residing with family in up state Florida. So far each trip down to plantation has entailed a one hour trip via uber to a train station and then the train to Ft. Lauderdale which is anywhere between 5 and 6 hours each way. I also had a stroke in 2017 so trips longer than 4 hours place a strain on me in general. Nonetheless, I've had to go several times, pay for hotel stays, food, etc. and cannot afford to do this comfortably. I need help, Please. So I can go through the treatments having a place to stay in Plantation for the next few months. Surgery was August 30th and chemotherapy to started October 16th. For chemotherapy, I need the ice cap which is 300 dollars per session and 250 dollars for the kit. I am doing well so far. Extremely tired but prayer and faith will get me through this. Just very tired, but that's ok. Food isn't really high up on my list since I lost all taste, even water. I've got my cheering angel by my side and I swear he does get me through most days. The Hotel I have been staying at is La Quinta Wyndham on Peter's road. Need one more stay on Jan 7th to 9th. After that Radiation. Should be interesting. Always loved a challenge
