Please help me attend a pivotal music residency

In the past few days I received the exciting news that my application to participate in the Banff Musicians in Residence Jazz & Creative Music Fall 2021 is approved!
From November 14th-December5th I will have the opportunity to focus on developing technique and repertoire for AGUA - a musical instrument I designed and built over the winter of 2021.
I need your help to cover the costs of final preparations of the instrument, the flights and buses to and from Banff, and of course for participating in the residency. While I have gratefully been accepted to the program with a scholarship, my current financial reality is such that the overall costs of this endeavor are prohibitive (see breakdown below).

L'INSTRUMENT
AGUA is a hybrid of the kora (which I have been learning, performing and composing with for over a decade), the lute and the harp. It has 33 nylon strings, is tuned chromatically and played with a mirrored hand-over-hand plucking technique.
Check out the video to get a sense of the process that has gone into designing and building the instrument so far and hear a sample of the repertoire, style and technique.
LA RESIDENCE
I am triple excited about the residency - to be among peers, to have strong mentorship and the tools and space to focus and elaborate on this work.
Having spent the depths of the pandemic innovating, producing and exploring primarily on studio-based audio-visual content, I am admittedly nervous at the prospect of publicly presenting new and vulnerable work.
My goal during the two weeks is to focus on developing core playing technique and exercises, as well as crack into a fresh repertoire of songs - all part of developing the tools for bringing AGUA to collaborations with other artists and into my musical performances.
COST BREAKDOWN
Program Cost: 1400$CAD (Due November 5th, 2021; Thankfully reduced from 4000$ with the scholarship I received)
Transport Costs: 750$CAD (Includes cost of oversize baggage)
Flight Case: 150$CAD (Fiberglass Materials & Hardware - I'll build it)
Miscellaneous: 250$CAD
=2550$
FUTURO
If I raise more than the goal, it will go towards my work developing musical content with AGUA for public performance and videos & visuals for digital release of music following the workshop.
My next step following Banff will be to submit a grant application to Canada Council (February 2022 cycle) for support to continue developing this exciting musical thread.
Further to this will be to commence building on the next prototype which will refine and improve what I have learned working with this one - adjusting tension points, drastically improving soundboard bracing, adjusting form and changing materials of the resonant case - the list goats on!
