Support the Wriede Family

The Wriede family is a wonderful family, close to my heart. I came to know the Wriede family in December 2016, when Emma (the mom) visited Learning Steps while looking for a suitable nursery for their children, Grace and Jojo. Grace and Jojo are both adopted, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and they both have special needs. Grace experienced psychological trauma prior to her adoption, and Jojo has a number of conditions, including epilepsy and neurological issues. Emma and Bruce have worked tirelessly to meet their children’s every need, and to love them without limits. I was devastated to learn that Bruce has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 malignant melanoma, which has already spread to his adrenals, pancreas, and both lungs. I am asking for support to help with medical bills surrounding Bruce’s treatment, ensuring the continuity of treatments for both children, and supporting the family through this difficult time. Please know that all funds donated will go directly to the family.
