On August 19th, Wellington North Equestrian is proud to host a 2023 PanAm Games fundraiser event for the Canadian Dressage Team.
This Go Fund Me page was set up for anyone who can not attend the event but would still like to show their support and donate to this cause.
Why do we need to fundraise?
The 2023 PanAm Games in Santiago, Chile is a very important competition for our international riders. In order to send Canadian dressage riders to the 2024 Olympics, we must have a team placing of Gold or Silver at the PanAms.
Equestrian Canada, our national federation, receives partial funding for the PanAm Games through the generous support of the Canadian Olympic Committee, but with all costs escalating, the overall funding for the Dressage Team is short $60,000.
