Support the McConnell Family

Join us in supporting a West Sacramento family who has been here for generations and was recently struck by tragedy. On Thursday, August 2, 2018, the McConnell family’s home was ravaged by fire. Thankfully, the family escaped with their lives, but unfortunately, Letha and Robert McConnell Jr, grandmother, Christine Beaugez, uncle Joseph Hall Sr and their seven children: Matthew 17, Ruben 15, Velentino 12, Lawrence 8, Dominic 6, Anna Rose 6, Robert 3 and two nieces Lilyana 12 and Aaliyah 11- lost everything. Our department became acquainted with the McConnells through the children who have participated in several WSPD youth programs. This is a unique opportunity for the department to come to their aid.
