Support the Laus following Marshall Fire
Donation protected
A week ago, the Lau family welcomed twin boys home from the hospital. Yesterday, they lost their home and all of their possessions during the Marshall Fire that ravaged Lousiville and Superior, Colorado.
The fire moved quickly, fueled by dry conditions and 100+ mph winds. Andrew was out picking up supplies to renovate their mudroom when the fires rapidly approached their house. Super-mom, Katie managed to get all four kids into cars and to safety. For anyone who has ever tried to get kids out the door, much less 4 of them, the fact that she did this under the tremendous stress and pressure of a rapidly approaching fire is nothing short of incredible.
The family has been reunited and kind friends took them in last night.
Please contribute to this fund to help them replace things that they've lost, make a down payment or deposit on a new place to live, pay for rent, and support other unexpected costs incurred due to this tragedy. They lost everything yesterday.
In addition to donations, if you know of anyone who owns a house in/around Louisville and is looking to rent or sell, please share - the one thing they really need is space for their wonderful family to attempt to re-establish some sense of normalcy.
The Laus are the kindest, most wonderful family you will ever meet. They always bring the fun wherever they go. They care for others in a way that can't be matched. Now it's our turn to care for the Laus.
