Support The Hudson Valley Challenge Part 2

My name is Chev Dixon and I am the Director of the Hudson River Riders (HRR) in Yonkers, NY. We provide free outdoor recreational programming to the youth and BIPOC community year-round, serving thousands!

We are raising money to support the 684 mile Hudson Valley Challenge Part 2 (HVC-II). The HVC is an annual multi-sport expedition of the beautiful Hudson Valley region of New York. Each year the challenge encompasses varying routes, distances, and locations to promote local and sustainable adventures and inspire people of all ages, races, genders and abilities to lead healthier lives.

We have already completed a pilot (24 miles in 2021) and a Part 1 (333 miles in 2022) where we have engaged authentic brands, national media, and most importantly, a hungry community of the next generation of adventure explorers!

We are inviting the community to get outside and get active with us! You can join us in these ways: the kickoff run & ride, the hike to Mt. Marcy (the highest peak in New York state) and the last two days of paddling.

We are hoping that you would join us on this mission to make a difference. Any donation will help make an impact and get more people outside, as well as cover our cost to produce a film that will inspire and motivate others.
